Thanks for the red sock

Well, I for one find my friend Rubix's ways of tagging people quite fun, and half the time I end up doing or having or wearing one of the things she lists for the tagged people. This time, I was wearing blue and red patterned socks.

How I started my blog, well...

 I started blogging about 6 years ago on a blog that no longer exists. Then about 5 years ago I began my second blog with a very similar intent but it didn't go for very long, then a third blog that lasted about a month before I stopped posting. Then, in 2015 I posted for the very first time here on the blog that used to be known as 'Touch of Euphoria'.

As far as blogging advice goes; write what you mean and say what you mean to say, and keep at it. Even if you don't feel like you're improving, you are, because nobody can get better without practice, that goes for blogging, writing, and literally everything in the world. Everybody is a learner and a beginner at some point before they're a master.

I don't think I know 15 bloggers, so... (stealing borrowing this from you Rubix)

 Dear Reader, I chose this particular title, because I just finished reading/looking at a story of another blogger, who drew each day of his and his wife's life for 365 days. But putting together specifically the days that he drew of them together.  And I must say, it was the sweetest story that I have read. The Drawings of Curtis Wiklund and his wife Jordin.  I have no other words to say than these, and these simple words say it all. I love this story. I love their story. I love that they made a story and told it to the world in one of the most magnificent ways possible. I love it that it's a story that is of the beauty real life holds. I love it all. And I love the story of life. And the story that God's given me. For although it was said, no one is told any story but their own. Resolutions

 Resolutions can be quite strange can't they? One moment you're wondering about something, then something in you just decides–No. You're not going to do that any more.  I often wonder if others feel this way. If you are just thinking about a part of your life, that hasn't changed in forever, yet you wonder why you just let it keep going. Till finally, one day just out of the blue, you take a stand and say, "No more."  Mine are always when I expect them least. Which is a good thing I suppose! Though, I often wonder why I hadn't taken that ability into my hands sooner, since I had them all the while.  The resolution, to not let something in your life keep you stuck. To let something keep you from doing what you need to, or wanting to. Knowing that if you throw in everything you've got, that you'll no longer be a slave to that thing that's keeping you stuck.  I know with others, it can be more difficult with certain things, but you can't

Fewer Things

 There are fewer things more enjoyable than biting into a homemade cookie. Made to the right amount of crispy chewiness. The chocolate chips scattered throughout it. The richness of the butter making it wonderfully smooth. Paired with a good cup of tea, I can think of few things more that to me, bring joy to my morning touch of breakfast treat. Christmas's Savory Sweet  Where do they come from?  Where did they go?  The cookies are made,  The doughs are rolled.  Made of every type and call,  The brilliant delights.  A kind for all.  So many treats and so many sweets,  To all of us this kindly thrall.  So sweet and enamoring.  This tasty treats delight.  They bring a smile,  And a light,  To all who eat,  A Christmas's chocolate savory delight. ©Mae Fort
